- Are All Recipes The Same?
If you like iced coffee then I expect as you are probably a serious coffee lover you love the starbucks iced coffee recipe. If you are reading this narrative then you have tasted and know what iced coffee is and you will of course have tried a starbucks iced coffee recipe. But iced coffee is not what you are mental it is. You do not make a cup of hot coffee and wait for it to cool down or chill it in the freezer to make a glass of iced coffee. You could not be more wrong! Yes of course iced coffee is a variety of a hot brewed coffee, but there is a formula to make it, a formula that is dissimilar from the way a hot coffee is brewed and the starbucks iced coffee formula is just gorgeous.

Making Iced Coffee- Tips And Tricks

Hot coffees are hot-brewed, but if you want to make iced coffee the way it was made when it was started, then you have to cold-brew the coffee. Yes, you read that right - You do not need to heat coffee if you want to make an iced coffee. All you need is a extra pot, cold water, and coarsely grounded coffee beans! Or if you prefer try the starbucks iced coffee formula below and you can be the judge.

o Pour the cold water in the pot.

o Put in the coarsely grounded coffee beans.

Other Ideas for you to try:

o Put some of the coffee you've made in the freezer and make ice cubes out of it.

o Try adding a bit of sugar syrup and a minute chocolate flavoring.

o Top off your iced coffee with a generous helping of whipped cream, chocolate sprinkles and a flake to of course impress your friends- they will think you are an iced coffee devotee or an employee of starbucks coffee house!

What will happen is that the cold water will passage the coffee flavors but will not passage the bitter compounds and the fatty oils that are gift in the beans. This means that the iced coffee, which is made, will have less acid content than what it would have had if it were hot-brewed. Coffee made using this formula was originally called iced coffee. This formula was invented in 1962 by a chemical engineer, Todd Simpson, and his business is still around today (It's called Toddy Products).
If you choose to make iced coffee using the hot-brew method, then you must get the coffee into the refrigerator once it reaches room temperature. If you allow it to get colder than that, then it may lose its flavor.

Starbucks Iced Coffee Recipe:

Starbucks Frappuccino

o 2 shots (3 oz.) espresso

o 1/4 cup granulated sugar

o 2 1/2 cups low-fat milk

o 1 Tbls. Pectin Or 1 tsp. Pectin + 1 tsp. Arrowroot

1. Stir sugar into espresso. Cool mixture.

2. Stir milk and pectin into espresso aggregate until pectin is dissolved.

3. Fill a glass with ice and either serve aggregate over ice, or pour glass contents into blender and blend for 30-45 seconds. Enjoy!

Pecan Praline Candy - Candy Makers Throw Away Your Candy Thermometers!

Pecan Praline Candy - Candy Makers Throw Away Your Candy Thermometers!

Pecan Praline Candy is a sweet, creamy, yummy sweet found in virtually every gift or specialty shop in New Orleans. In the French Quarter, you can even find shops manufacture this appetizing candy as you watch.

There is a specific trick when trying to make pecan candy at home.  original pecan praline candy requires the use of a thermometer when cooking the sugary mixture.  If the mixture is not hot enough, the candy will not harden and is a gooey mess. If the mixture hardens too much, the candy will become very brittle.  Most pecan praline recipes call for the thermostat to reach 238 degrees or the mixture to reach the soft-ball stage.  You must enduringly stir the mixture or expect disastrous results.

For the cooking challenged with a sweet tooth, I have the exquisite Microwave Pecan Praline Candy Recipe.  Please do not laugh or call me crazy.  I have tried the recipe and it is so easy and approximately foolproof.  No need to stand over a hot stove stirring and monitoring your candy sugar mixture.  You do not need to know what the soft-ball stage is, because you can easily throw away your candy thermometer.  It is not needed!

Microwave Pecan Praline Candy Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup whipping cream

1 pound light brown sugar

2 cups pecans, coarsely chopped

2 tablespoons margarine, softened

Directions

Mix cream and sugar together. Microwave 13 minutes on high. Remove from microwave. Add margarine and pecans. Fast stir. Drop onto waxed paper using a tablespoon. Let cool, then watch them disappear.

Now, I will be honest.  As good as this microwave pecan praline candy recipe is, nothing beats the smell and texture of Pecan Praline Candy that is slowly cooked, but this is an awesome substitute, especially for the cooking challenged!  You be the judge.

Yummy Low Carb Recipes - Vanilla Ice Cream for the Atkins Diet

Yummy Low Carb Recipes - Vanilla Ice Cream for the Atkins Diet

Mmmmm. . .Vanilla Ice Cream for Low Carb Dieters! One of the great things about the Atkins Diet is that you can indulge in some amazing foods that you just can't eat on any other diet.

Of course, there are also a bunch of foods you can't eat, but most Atkins Dieters are happy with trading the low-fat, high-carb foods for yummy treats like the ones you can now eat.

That's why this Low Carb Vanilla Ice Cream recipe is such a treat. It's my own adaptation of Ben & Jerry's Vanilla Ice Cream. The variation is that this one is made with synthetic sweeteners -- and some other changes as well.

The recipe gets Rave reviews from family and friends who try it. And the great thing is that unless you tell them, they'll probably not even know that there is no sugar in this recipe.

Low Carb Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

This recipe yields 2 pints of ice cream (not ice milk!) at only 5.5 grams per 1/2 cup serving. Assess that to 21 grams for Ben & Jerry's vanilla ice cream! And it tastes Great. Enjoy.

Ingredients:

1 large egg

1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

7 packets Equal or Sweet'n'Low

Procedure:

Whisk the egg in a bowl till it's fluffy. Should take a integrate of minutes. Whisk in the sweetener for another minute. Pour in the cream and vanilla and keep on whisking for another 2 minutes. Pour this concoction into your ice cream maker and frost agreeing to the manufacturer.

If you don't own an ice cream maker and literally want to make this ice cream from scratch, do this:
Get two clean and empty tin coffee cans with the plastic lids: one a 3 pound can, the other a 1 pound can.

Put the smaller can into the larger one. Remove the small lid, fill with the ice cream mixture, and replace the lid. Pack ice cubes all nearby the small can, inside the larger can, all the way to the top.

Sprinkle rock salt or Kosher salt liberally on the ice. If you don't have rock salt, try table salt. Put the lid on the larger can, tip it on its side, and roll the can back and forth every microscopic or so for about 10 minutes. Open both cans to see if the ice cream is solidifying along the edges of the smaller can. Replace the small lid, pack more ice nearby the small can, sprinkle some more salt, put the large lid on, and keep rolling.

You'll have ice cream in about 20 more minutes.

Probably the best you've ever tasted.

Enjoy!

Troubleshooting Your Ice Maker

Troubleshooting Your Ice Maker

Having an ice maker is a lot more favorable compared to buying ice but it can be a great problem if the motor breaks down. It can also be quite expensive to hire person to check and mend your ice machine. Before you spend a lot of money hiring a repairman to troubleshoot your ice maker, why not do it yourself first and see if the problem gets resolved.

Here are the some things you can do first before calling a repairman:

1. The first thing you need to do before troubleshooting your ice maker is to switch off the machine. This can lessen the risk of accidents like being electrocuted or having some wiring explode on you. Security first before doing whatever else to your machine. You don't want to spend a lot of money hiring a repairman to do the job for you and its great if you can do it safely.

2. Make sure that the ice pail is inserted properly. If not, that might be a problem since the sensors are being blocked which stops the ice development cycle.

3. Turn off the motor and switch it back on after a few seconds. This can reset the motor and hopefully the ice development process will resume.

4. Check for any broken parts. If you find some broken parts, then it's time to call for a repairman or you can replace it yourself if you have the knowledge and skills to do so.

What to do if Ice Trays are Not Being Refilled

1. If your ice trays are not being refilled then there must be something wrong with the delivery principles of water. Listen carefully if you don't hear whatever like a water valve being energized, then there is probably something wrong with the valve or wiring. Call your repairman as soon as this happens to prevent any other damage.

2. If by opening you hear a valve being energized, then there must be something blocking the water line. This ordinarily happens if the water gets icy down before it even reaches the mold. You can solve this problem by melting the ice with hair dryer or warm water.

3. Don't forget to also check the water filter. Water filters are ordinarily changed every six months or so in order to prevent any clogging problems. Take off the filter for a incorporate of hours and see if your ice motor will yield some ice, if it does, then it's time for you to convert your filter.

Ice cream is one of the most universally favored desserts around the world. Not only is it plane and creamy and deliciously sweet but it also comes in an expansive variety of flavors, so you can find one that suits you down to a tee or keep investigating and try a different kind every night.

The Npd group recently conducted a recognize surrounded by American households to find out what are the most popular varieties of dairy treat. They found that some kind was enjoyed by over 90% of people and over 1.5 billion gallons were consumed nationwide. So what were the most coarse types?

Perhaps not surprisingly vanilla comes in at first place with a 30% market share. The classics often can't be beaten and it has the benefit in that it goes with just about every other dessert you can think of.

Next up, was chocolate at 10%. Everyone's popular treat works just as well frosty with milk and whipped to a plane consistency.

In third place, Butter Pecan was chosen by 4% of people. Who knew it was so popular? The aggregate of plane ice cream and crunchy nuts is a winner

The only fruit based taste in the top 5 comes in at 4th; strawberry. While production up one third of that great house popular the Neapolitan would well get this one onto people's plates it is a great option by itself, berries and ice cream are a natural choice.

And last of all on this list but well not least is an additional one aggregate chocolate chip min at 3%. Again a aggregate of textures, sweetness and the draw of chocolate drive this one to the top of many lists.

The top 5 combined only made up just over 50% of the total so there are many, many other choices in the faultless list. And what a remarkable thing that option is!

Ice Cream, Gelato, Sorbet - What Are the distinct Types of Ice Cream?

Today you can enjoy a icy dairy treat in just about every angle of the globe. However they are not all the same, ice cream in America is not the same as gelato in Italy and kulfi in India. So what are the most popular forms of these appetizing desserts and what makes the different?

Ice cream - to be labeled as ice cream in the Usa a stock must include 10% milk fat and more than 20% milk solids by weight. This is a relatively high level of fat and gives the American treat it's customary smooth creamy texture. There are generally two types, "Philadelphia" style and "French" style, the latter is made with a custard base while the previous has no eggs.

Gelato - traditionally made by hand in Italy it has only 7-8% fat which is less than what is required by law in the Us. It usually has a much higher egg article of as well

Sorbets, sherberts and granitas- are almost selfsame products that don't include any or only a small number of milk; these are a often a fruit puree mixed with ice. The will be less smooth and often have very intense taste. These were the forerunners of ice cream and remain very popular.

Semifredo or icy custard - a smooth, very creamy and richer alternative. It is generally not mass-produced and available only at the point of manufacture. It has a high egg content.

Frozen yoghurt-is a low or no fat alternative using milk and yoghurt in place of cream. It yields a sensation of tartness.

Kulfi is the Indian version, that is not whipped, has dinky air article and so is very dense. It is made by thickening sweetened milk so it has a very intense base. Combined with unusual flavors to a western palate, it makes a very unusual taste.

I have a distributor who sells this stock at .66 for a 24 pack, meaning that each bar has a wholesale cost of roughly .24. I have found that I am able to sell Dove Bars at a mark-up of well over 100% - meaning an exquisite behalf on each unit sold.

Using an Excel spread sheet you can absolutely keep track of your behalf margin on each type of novelty that you sell.
